Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor since November 11, 1996. After her first small performance as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, 1989's Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character - in A View to a Kill (Bond film 1985), she went onto perform the role of Nazisympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte on Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was approached by a photographer who asked her to take on the role of model. She then developed an industry-wide career in commercial modeling. Doody was very cautious about doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The rule was extended to the acting profession. If she came to the director's notice for a James Bond film, Doody took on a part in A View to a Kill (1985). Doody was listed within John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as one of the 12 most promising actors in 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 when she took on the role as a Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) with Mickey Rourke, also featured an unimportant role in the form of IRA Siobhan. Doody was Archibald Craven's wife Lilias as he portrayed his fantasy in 1987's television adaptation The Secret Garden. In the Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, Doody played Sapsorrow alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She also appeared with Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable performance to date was her role as Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played the role with Sean Connery, who played Indiana Jones' father. In 1991 Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. Following her move to Hollywood Doody made her a star. Chosen to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokesperson for L'Oreal she was later chosen to perform alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery his agent and girlfriend. Doody's return to the big screen came in 2003 when Michael Caine played Doody in a short role. In 2004, she starred with Patrick Swayze as a television adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. She was also in Benjamin's Struggle, a 2005 pamphlet on the Holocaust. Doody appeared as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. The Clinic, a medical drama, aired on RTE. The Asphyx was the remake she made in 2011. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. She was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way in 2014, a documentary. She received the Almeria tierra de cinema award on the 21st of November, 2018.
